Three days, one very good excuse to be in Tuscany
We’re getting married at Borgo della Meliana in Tuscany from 4th–7th June 2028, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating anywhere else.
For us, the wedding has never just been about one day. We wanted the chance to bring our favourite people together somewhere beautiful, slow things down a little and actually have time to enjoy being with everyone.
So instead of arriving for a ceremony and disappearing again the next morning, we’re making a proper few days of it.
Good food. Good wine. Sunshine. Music. A pool. And hopefully all of you.
Why Tuscany?
We’ve always loved travelling, discovering new places and sharing good food, so getting married abroad felt very us.
Tuscany has pretty much everything we could have hoped for: rolling countryside, long summer evenings, incredible food and wine, beautiful old buildings and enough space for everyone to actually spend time together.
When we found Borgo della Meliana, it felt like somewhere we could create more than just a wedding day.
More than the wedding day
The celebrations begin on Sunday 4th June with a relaxed pizza party and drinks after everyone arrives.
We’ll get married on Monday 5th June, with a relaxed morning before the ceremony later in the afternoon, followed by aperitivo, dinner, drinks, music and dancing until 2am.
Tuesday 6th June is our pool party: sunshine, swimming, pasta, drinks, music and a slightly slower pace than the night before.
We’ll say our goodbyes on Wednesday 7th June, with check-out by 10am.
Relaxed, sociable, fun — and enough time to actually be together.
What we want it to feel like
There’ll obviously be a few times when everyone needs to be somewhere, but outside of that we want you to enjoy the Borgo, have a drink, sit by the pool, explore the countryside and spend time with people you might not get to see very often.
The most important thing to us is having everyone together and having the time to actually enjoy it.
If you fancy staying a little longer
We know travelling to Tuscany is a bigger commitment than travelling to a wedding at home, and we really appreciate everyone who is able to make the trip. If you have a little extra time before or after the wedding, you could always turn the journey into a holiday and explore more of Tuscany or Italy at your own pace.
Florence, Siena and some of Tuscany’s most beautiful towns are all within reach, and we’ve pulled together a few ideas if you’d like to add some extra days to your trip.
And most importantly…
The part we’re looking forward to most is pretty simple: being in Tuscany with all of our favourite people in one place.
