The celebrations begin on Sunday 4th June 2028 with our welcome pizza party that evening, so please arrive with enough time to get settled beforehand.

Yes. The invitation is for the full celebration, beginning with the welcome pizza party on Sunday evening and continuing through the wedding and Tuesday’s pool party, with check-out on Wednesday morning.
We’d love to have everyone with us for the full celebration. If you already know you won’t be able to attend part of it, please let us know when the formal RSVP opens so we can plan accommodation and food accurately.
Yes. Children are very welcome. Baby cots can be provided at the Borgo, and there’s also a small play area and a children’s swimming pool.
When the formal RSVP opens, you’ll be able to let us know if you need a cot and we’ll include it when arranging the rooms.
Please go by the names on your invitation. If a partner or plus one isn’t named, they aren’t currently included in the invitation.
We’re keeping numbers carefully managed because accommodation and meals are being arranged for every guest. If you’re unsure about who your invitation includes, just ask us before making any plans.
Sunday: casual and relaxed.
Monday: formal summer wedding attire. Suits, shirts and trousers, dresses, jumpsuits and similar are all perfect. Please avoid shorts, and keep white or predominantly white outfits for the bride.
Tuesday: poolside and relaxed — swimwear, shorts, summer dresses, shirts and sandals are all welcome.
Many guests will stay at Borgo della Meliana. There’s nothing you need to book at the Borgo yourselves — we’ll organise the room allocations once the final guest list is confirmed and then send you your accommodation and check-in details.
Accommodation is spread across the estate and each space has its own kitchen and private living/sleeping areas. Guests also have access to the Borgo grounds and swimming pools, and there’s parking for anyone hiring or bringing a car.
For most guests travelling from the UK, Pisa is our recommended airport and the simplest starting point for reaching the Borgo.
Florence is also a good alternative if the flights, timings or prices work better for you.
If you’re comfortable driving in Italy, hiring a car is the easiest and most flexible option. There’s parking at the Borgo and, once you arrive, you won’t need to drive between any of the wedding events.
We’ll coordinate shared transport for guests who aren’t planning to drive. Because taxis around the Borgo are limited, transfers will need to be grouped around guests with similar arrival and departure times.
If you think you’ll need shared transport, please check with us before booking your flights.
Taxi availability around the Borgo is very limited, so we wouldn’t recommend relying on finding one when you arrive.
The simplest options are hiring a car, sharing with another guest or using one of the shared transfers we coordinate.
No. The Save the Date is simply to make sure 4th–7th June 2028 are in your diary. Formal invitations and personalised RSVP details will follow later.
We completely understand that circumstances can change.
Once formal RSVPs open, please only confirm if you genuinely expect to attend and let us know as soon as possible if anything changes.
Because accommodation and food will be booked and paid for based on confirmed guests, if you later can’t attend we’ll ask you to cover the accommodation and food costs already committed for you.
